MAP 3rd ANNUAL MIXED DOUBLES TOURNAMENT
Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Tiffin Park, Midland, ON.

We were lucky to have a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and no rain!

From what I heard, it was another successful tournament.
Congratulations to all the players, some great pickleball on the courts.

A very big THANK YOU to all who helped make the day a success, starting with Carl who picked me up at 7:30 AM to load his pickup truck with tables, chairs, canopy etc. and took me home again.

Bill, who brought his leaf blower and cleaned all the courts of debris.

Kathy B who lugged the cooler full of ice around.

Of course, also the many photographers, without whom we could not show you what it looked like.

And next thing you know several players showed up early to give us a hand setting up.

Then people started to arrive with all kinds of goodies, like banana bread, muffins, cookies, brownies (I was a bit suspicious there;-), bananas, rice crispy squares, etc.

Check out the picture of me sitting at the table looking like I am running a bake sale instead of a tournament.

Thank you also to all who helped disassemble and clean up the courts after the tournament.

I am grateful that we have such a great group of players in our club.

Check out who won this time, more pictures to come I am sure:
